Company's history
Years of experience
Founded in 1947 by the late Mrs & Mr Loots, Rico Tools became a company with over half a century of experience as worldwide supplier for the diamond industry.
Nowadays, the company has made way for a new state-of-the-art, machine shop with a floor area of 1400m2, equipped with the very latest high-tech, metal working machines. Rico Tools works with a team of in-house well trained workers and only uses raw materials of the highest quality in their production process.

| 1958 | Opening of retail shop in Antwerp. |
| 1969 | Son Robert & daughter José joined their parents and the name Rico was born. |
| 1980 | Taking over of the company by grandson Patrick Meir and first steps into export. |
| 1983 | Grandson Chris Meir joins the company. |
| 1987 | Rico starts upgrading its machine park to CNC technology. |
| 1994 | The company moves to a new development on the Industrial Estate in Herenthout. |
| 1995 | Rico changes into Rico Tools NV. |
| 2002 | Opening of Rico Tools webshop. |
| 2009 | Rico Tools nv changes into Rico Tools Belgium bvba. New management. |
